Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the Third Annual Pepco Golf & Tennis Classic raised more than $180,000 to help disadvantaged residents in the District and Montgomery and Prince George’s counties pay their heating bills this winter.
Tournament proceeds will be distributed through the PHI Community Foundation to families served by The Greater Washington Urban League, Catholic Charities of Montgomery County and United Communities Against Poverty, Inc., Prince George’s County.
Since its inception three years ago, the tournament has raised more than half-a-million dollars for area charities.
